"Taquache Classic"
The 2008 "Taquache Classic" is now history. Thanks to all who participated! There were 14 different chapters represented and there were flight winners from nine different chapters.
Here is a letter from the Co-Chairmen of the Classic and then the final results:
On behalf of the Austin and Edinburg PAGA chapters we want to extend a big “Thank You” to the players from 14 different chapters who made our 2nd Annual “Taquache Classic” such a smashing success!
We appreciate the effort all of you made – especially those who drove several hours (or more) to get to the Valley. We especially want to recognize the folks from Corpus Christi (there were 17 of you) for your support and we’ll certainly be on the “Texas Riviera” next summer!
We’ll soon be announcing a new date for next year’s “Taquache Classic” and we hope to see all the same faces again as well as some new ones.
