Our annual Membership Tournament took place on Saturday, February 20th at Ebony Hills GC. Winners were:
1st Flight - 1st Place - Rodney Mayo & Landon Liska - 66 - $45 each
2nd Flight - 1st Place - Javier Garcia & Ken Quin - 70 - $52 each; 2nd Place - Rick Beltran & Frank Fernandez 76 - $31 each; 3rd Place - Cris Garza & Gus Garcia - 78 - $21 each
3rd Flight - 1st Place - Carlos Garza & Albert Garza - 84 - $30 each

2010 “Taquache Cup”
Edinburg
PAGA launches the “Taquache Cup”. In an effort to make all PAGA tournaments
more attractive to participants and hopefully, increase interest and
participation, we are beginning the 10 month “Taquache Cup” effective with
the January Birthday Boys Tournament on Jan. 25th.
For
every PAGA tournament you participate in, you receive five (5) points (except
Sundowners which get you one point). In addition, you receive 3 points for
winning first place, 2 points for 2nd and 1 point for 3rd.
Sundowner participants will receive one point for participation in each event.
National
PAGA tournaments earn ten points for participation and additional points for
win/place, etc.

At
the end of the season (probably in October), the 12 members with the highest
accumulated point totals (and all ties) will compete in a one day tournament for
the prize money that accumulates throughout the year at the rate of $2 per
player per event.

point totals for all participants will be regularly posted in the Pro Shop and
on our website: www.edinburgpage.org
